oDocs Ph.D. Scholarship
Research to be carried out in collaboration with any of the
New Zealand's eight universities
Student applies to University for a Ph.D. program
Supervisors are allotted by the respective University. You can communicate with the supervisor prior to applying to the University.
oDocs cannot help with the admission process
Enrolment confirmed
University enrolls the student in the Ph.D. program after a thorough evaluation of past educational qualifications of the candidate. A minimum GPE of 5.0 or above is required to get admitted for a Ph.D. program in New Zealand.

Research topics finalized
The supervisor and the potential student finalize the research topic.
To be eligible for the oDocs co-funded scholarship, the research topic must be selected from the research topics provided by oDocs. Details about these topics can be found below.
Scholarship awarded
The student is awarded the scholarship for 3 years, which includes $26,000 per year and the University fee for the program enrolled.
Once the award of the scholarship is confirmed, the research will be jointly supervised by the main supervisor (from the University) and co-supervisor (from oDocs Eye Care).
Research program initiated
The Ph.D. research for 3 years minimum will be fully funded by oDocs.
All the research outputs must acknowledge the contribution made by oDocs Eye Care.
